We welcome new parents at all of our meetings!
Vision
All students with disabilities will be accepted for their strengths and abilities and will be productive members of society.
Purpose
We will
Promote awareness of students with special needs
Foster communication between students, parents, and school staff,
Provide educational opportunities to improve one's effectiveness as an advocate for a student with disabilities
And offer support to individual families
We generally meet on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year.
Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. (6:45 refreshments and childcare).
Meetings are held at Fairview Junior High in the Library (8107 Central Valley Road, NW) unless otherwise noted.
Topics and guest speakers are scheduled throughout the school year.
Questions, ideas, and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged.
Guests, other family members, and parents from other school districts are invited to attend.
